A  2007 World and European Champion,  Dr Tim  won gold again in the European Championships in 2008. He is a 2 -time Olympian and will make his third appearance at 'The Games'  in Beijing in August 2008. He competed in the 2000 Games in Sydney, winning bronze in K1 1000m. At the Athens Games in 2004, he recorded the Worlds Fastest Time in his qualification events and finished 5th in the final. Outside of the Olympic Games, Tim probably had his best season ever in 2007. He became World Champion in K1 1000m -  his trademark event - and took the silver medal over the 500m distance. Earlier in the year, in Spain at the European Championships, he won gold and silver again, only this time the gold came in the 500m event. He followed up these great wins by dominating the Olympic Test event in Beijing, taking gold in both K1 events. This season he has shown to the world that he is a real winner over both distances. Surely a medal favourite for the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH, the OLYMPIC GAMES, later this year.   Read more about Tim on his website:  www.timbrabants.com
